







Rihanna, the famous R&B artist, who in real life is named Robyn Rihanna Fenty, hails from one of the beautiful Caribbean islands, Barbados. The first glimpse of the talented Rihanna was in the magestic island of Barbados. Evan Rogers, one of music industries famous producer, together with his collaborator Carl Sturken, helped Rihanna in taping a sample of her song to be sent off to record labels such as Def Jam.
Upon trying out for chief executive officer Shane Carter, otherwise known as Jay-Z, she was immediately signed up for a contract to do a record album. In August of 2005, Music of the Sun was released as her launching record album. The record immediately reached the top ten hits in the United States and Canada. While it landed a spot in the top forty hits in the United Kingdom. Prompted by her hit song Pon de Replay, that which mounted to the #2 spot with the U.S. Billboards Top 100 and the United Kingdoms Singles Chart. On that same year, Rihanna went on tour with Gwen Stefani, to which beyond any doubt facilitated in elevating the status of her record.
By April of 2006, she then released her second album entitled A Girl Like Me and that rised to the #5 spot in the United States as well as the #6 spot in the United Kingdom. SOS (Rescue Me) was the very first single on the record that reached the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, the Pop 100 and the Hot Dance Music/Club Play. The song eventually became the biggest digital single to have sold over 169,000 record copies in the first week of launching.
Her second single entitled Unfaithful, was a song composed by Ne-Yo was her third hit single. Rihanna's third album for 2007, Good Girl Gone Bad, kept on her success. Truly a remarkable talent.
